The U-Turn features four or eight selections. From any angle nearly all selections are visible and create a very attractive and colorful display. Vending is an impulse stimulated business. The U-Turn triggers that impulse.
The canisters are interchangeable for ease of service and have a molded inventory gauge for inventory control.
The vending tumbler has ten adjustment settings instead of the very few adjustment settings that are common in the industry. It also helps maintain control of the variety of product pieces you can vend.
Each coin mechanism has its own coin box, making it easy to track proceeds and, if used properly, will discourage dishonesty. The coin mechanisms are made from M-90 Celcon (Delrin), and have a special drop feature which accepts pennies, nickels and dimes without activating the mechanism.
The lid of the U-Turn serves several functions: (1) it features a screw-down lock that provides high security, (2) it provides a freshness seal to keep the product fresh, and (3) its pyramid-like shape prevents it from becoming used as an ashtray or a place for empty pop cans and coffee cups. Because of its shape, heavy objects cannot be placed upon it. In addition, we have cut a coin slot in the lid making it a separate coin box for the purpose of charitable giving. We ask your customers to make a donation to a charity of your choice and deposit it in the lid. This keeps charity donations and candy sales separate, and leaves no question about how much money goes to charity.
Only our U-Turn is mounted on a square base. This not only makes the U-Turn very stable, but also custodial people love us because they can clean right up to the U-Turn base.
The U-Turn is made of steel and is finished with a scratch- resistant, baked-on powder coating. It turns on steel bearings, is simple to assemble (less than 5 minutes), and will stand the test of time on location. The candy vends completely and is kept sanitary and clean because of our very steep vending chute and spring-loaded chute door. Optional twenty-five cent stickers are available.
