Replacing A Lock On Your Candy Vending Machine

How To Drill Out The Lock On Your Candy Vending Machine
You will need the following tools:

  • Drill
  • Drill Bit - 1/4 Inch
  • Large Flat-Head Screw Driver

Step #1: Make sure that your candy vending machine is in a stable and secure location for the drilling process. We want to avoid having the machine tipping over.

Step #2: Drill a 1/4 inch hole 1/2 inch deep through the center of the lock, this will destroy the internal parts of the lock and will free it for removal.

Step #3: Insert the screw driver into the drilled out lock and twist. The screw driver is now a make-shift key, this will now aid you in removing the lid and gaining access to the 'Hex Nut' holding the lock in place inside the lid.

Step #4: Unscrew the 'Hex Nut' and remove your lock.

If you need any help getting a new lock or key - Give us a Call- We would love to help you get your vending machine back in working order.
