When I'm planning the weekly dinner menu for our family I don't arrange to prepare the same meal all seven days.  Don't get me wrong, a few of my kids would love pizza all week, and I know a couple of others would have mac and cheese everyday if they coul.  Or even I think I could eat mexican every night and be pretty content.  My husband on the other hand is a meat and potatos guy all the way.
In order to appeal to everyone I plan a variety of things.  That way everyone can have their favorite.  This is the exact same concept that has been applied to the U-Turn Vending Machines.  With 4, 8, or 12 selections you can appeal to just about any passerby.  And with the unique design of the machine and the unparalled product display- the impulse to buy is as easy as, " what you see is what you get."
