When you hear "April showers bring May flowers" it just doesn't really seem to cheer you up, when you are in the middle of April and all of you've had are clouds and rain for two weeks.  And once you get to May and you are enjoying the sunshine and all those beautiful flowers you just don't hear anybody bring up those rainy days of April.  And yet here I sit in the middle of an April rain storm, and I look out the window and what do I see?  Tiny blossoms on the trees.  Tulips here and there peaking through and showing their brilliance.  I see the grass changing from brown to green in spots.  Evidence.  All of this is evidence that a beautiful colorful spring will soon be here.  Even the darn rain is evidence.
In everyone's life we pass through storms, trials, adversity.  Call it what you'd like.  But no matter what we are going through there is always the evidence of hope around us.  Sometimes it's very hard to see unless you are looking, but it is always there.
